I'm a Tech Lead at Hand Talk, where we build sign language accessibility technology with AI. I like taking an idea all the way to production, from the database to the interface, with the spec written before the code.
I write code that turns into product and reaches the user.
I'm a Tech Lead at Hand Talk, where we use artificial intelligence to translate content into Brazilian Sign Language and make the web accessible for deaf people. I lead the technical calls without stepping away from the code. Day to day I model the data, write the API and build the interface, always thinking about how it will hold up once real people are using it.
Over the last few years I've changed the way I build quite a bit. I write the spec before I start coding and treat AI as a partner along the way, from the first draft through the code review. In practice I make fewer mistakes and decide with a clearer head, which matters to me a lot more than shaving seconds off my typing.

A TypeScript server that delivers architecture scaffolding on demand, meant to speed up the start of new projects and keep them consistent.

Hand Talk is part of Sorenson, a US company known for its accessibility products for deaf people, which gives me real international experience working with global teams and products. I lead the team on the technical side while staying hands-on with the code, on products that use AI to translate content into sign language, and I own the architecture calls from backend to frontend.
